Vinyl Theatre, "Shine On"
"Like diamonds, we're built with time. We've come a long way to change our minds." — Vinyl Theatre
Vinyl Theatre has come a long way shortly after signing to Fueled By Ramen in 2014. Not only did they release their debut album Electrogram, they embarked on their first national tour. Their first national tour meant opening for their fellow record label artist twenty one pilots, alongside Misterwives. Vinyl Theatre began as an encounter between Keegan Calmes (vocals, guitar) and Chris Senner (keyboard, synthesizer), at a cross-country meet in high school, and transitioned into a 4-piece, adding Nick Cesarz (drums) and Josh Pothier (bass guitar). They have toured with Magic Man and Smallpools, and also The Mowgli's. However, Josh recently announced that he has parted ways, due to health issues (all well wishes to him!), and the band is continuing on as a 3-piece. In their video for "Shine On," they may be running away, but with their catchy riffs, they are running towards an ever-expanding listener and fanbase. Yesterday night marked their first night of tour as a co-headliner with Finish Ticket on the Ones to Watch Tour. They'll be stopping at The Gramercy Theatre on February 25! Don't miss out on the chance to see a great act and to hear "Breaking Up My Bones," live. Stay updated on their socials!
