On September 13, 2019, Finish Ticket returned to NYC to perform a much-anticipated show at Mercury Lounge. Even though it had been about 3 years since they last shared their sound in the Big Apple, they treated attendees to a fantastic set, which included older tunes such as “Rivers”, along with newer ones like “Scavenger”, “Lying Through Our Teeth”, “When Night Becomes Day”, and “Color”.

Layering elements of pop, indie, and alternative, All The Rest is currently on the rise. Hailing from and currently based in Senoia, Georgia since 2013, the band features the charisma and talents of Caleb Smith (vocals, guitar), Baylee Waller (vocals, guitar), Jud Harris (drums), and Tre Housman (bass, vocals). They self-released their debut single, “Kitchen Floor” in late 2017. Since then, they’ve put out a handful of catchy singles, including “Waste My Money” and “Sleeping With The Lights On”. Not only have they shared their sound at a variety of venues near Atlanta, they have also supported bands such as The Technicolors and Vacation Manor.
Earlier this month on September 3, the band performed at Communion’s September Residency at Rockwood Music Hall, marking their first New York show. Upon the first listen, TWIN XL will keep you dreaming about their sound. TWIN XL, formed and based in Los Angeles, California, showcases the talent and charisma of Cameron Walker-Wright (lead vocals, guitar), John Gomez (guitar, vocals), and Stephen Gomez (bass), along with Dave Briggs (drums). They released their debut EP, How To Talk To Strangers, on March 1, 2019 via The Century Family. Earlier this year, they performed at 8123 Fest in Phoenix, Arizona, in addition to supporting The Mowgli’s and Jukebox The Ghost. This summer, they toured the U.S. on a headline tour, with a show at Mercury Lounge in New York City. This coming fall, they will embark on an extensive tour across the U.S., opening for The Maine (with a stop in NYC at Webster Hall on November 6).

Justin Jesso may be far from home, but he is getting closer to making it big in music history. Hailing from Chicago and currently based in Los Angeles, Justin is a singer/songwriter and graduate of NYU’s prestigious Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. He gained worldwide fame on Kygo’s collaborative hit, “Stargazing”, which has garnered more than 350 million streams on Spotify since its release in 2017. Just this year, on March 4, he put out his debut EP Let It Be Me via Sony Music Entertainment, which features tracks such as “Getting Closer” and “One Good Reason”. Most recently, he collaborated with Nina Nesbitt to rerelease “Let It Be Me” on June 7. Not only has he played solo shows at venues such as Mercury Lounge and The Bitter End, he has performed in Europe and Asia supporting Kygo.

February 22, 2019 marked the return of You Me At Six to Gramercy Theatre (the last time they performed at the venue was in 2013). The band not only got the crowd cheering, singing along, and dancing, they even brought a young fan on stage. Additionally, they performed an eclectic variety of songs from their albums.

On February 9, 2019, COIN treated NYC to a phenomenal show at Irving Plaza. Somehow, it just so happened the last time they had performed in NYC was on the same date and at the same venue, just a year earlier. However, this time, what was different was that the show sold out. Not only did they perform the usual favorites such as “Run”, “I Don’t Wanna Dance”, and “Talk Too Much”, they also shared new hits including “Cemetery” and “I Want It All”.

So Called People, based in Brooklyn, highlights the musical talents and charisma of Joe DiSalvo, Joe LoCascio, Matt Corcoran, and live musician Alex Fagella. They released their first single, “33,” on March 4, 2018; it has already garnered more than 400 plays on Soundcloud. Following “33,” they put out “Sad” and “Wet,” which led up to the release of their self-titled debut EP on December 14, 2018 (available on Spotify). They have performed all over NYC, from The Bitter End to Gold Sounds to Pianos. This fall in October, they performed at Pianos for Mondo.NYC alongside a number of international artists and speakers.

The Faim, formed in Perth, Australia, showcases the charisma and musical passion of Josh Raven (lead vocals), Sean Tighe (drums/percussion), Sam Tye (guitar), and Stephen Beerkens (bass, keyboard). They recently released their debut EP, Summer Is A Curse, on September 7, 2018, via BMG. Future Generations, formed and based in New York City, showcases the musical talents and passions of Eddie Gore (lead vocals, synth, guitar), Eric Grossman (guitar), Mike Sansevere (synth, guitar, percussion), Devon Sheridan (bass), and Dylan Wells (percussion). They released their debut EP, Polysun, on October 21, 2014 via Frenchkiss Records, followed by their self-titled debut record on July 29, 2016, which features the hit “Stars”. Most recently, they put their much-anticipated sophomore album, Landscape, on September 14, 2018. Not only have they performed at a handful of notable NYC venues such as Rough Trade, Mercury Lounge, Pianos, Le Poisson Rouge, and Rockwood Music Hall for a Communion Residency, they have shared the stage with artists such as City Of The Sun, Savoir Adore, and ARIZONA.
